Terms of Use
Last Updated: May 7, 2026
Welcome to BeepBoop. These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the BeepBoop website, simulation game, calculators, projections, content, and related features, collectively referred to as the "Service."
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Educational and Entertainment Use Only
BeepBoop is an educational and entertainment tool designed to help users explore general financial concepts through simplified simulations.
The Service is not financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, legal advice, accounting advice, retirement advice, estate planning advice, or any other form of professional advice. The Service is not a substitute for speaking with a qualified professional who can evaluate your specific circumstances.
BeepBoop does not recommend that you buy, sell, hold, borrow, save, invest, contribute, withdraw, refinance, purchase insurance, change employment, make tax elections, or take any other financial action.
2. No Professional Relationship
Your use of the Service does not create an advisor-client, fiduciary, accountant-client, attorney-client, broker-client, planner-client, or other professional relationship between you and BeepBoop, its owner, developer, operator, affiliates, contributors, or service providers.
BeepBoop is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, tax preparer, CPA firm, law firm, bank, lender, insurance producer, or fiduciary.
3. Illustrative Estimates Only
The Service may generate projections, estimates, scores, rankings, levels, labels, simulations, tax estimates, net worth estimates, retirement estimates, savings estimates, investment growth estimates, debt estimates, income comparisons, or other outputs.
All outputs are illustrative approximations only. They are not forecasts, promises, guarantees, or predictions of actual outcomes.
Actual outcomes may differ materially from the outputs shown by the Service due to many factors, including market performance, inflation, taxes, salary changes, unemployment, health expenses, disability, family changes, location, debt terms, investment fees, behavioral choices, laws, regulations, economic conditions, personal circumstances, and errors or limitations in the model.
You should not rely on the Service as the sole basis for any financial decision.
4. User Responsibility
You are solely responsible for:
- The information you enter into the Service;
- How you interpret the Service's outputs;
- Any decisions you make based on or influenced by the Service;
- Verifying any information before relying on it; and
- Consulting qualified professionals before making significant financial, legal, tax, investment, retirement, insurance, or employment decisions.
You agree that you use the Service at your own risk.
5. Modeling Assumptions and Limitations
BeepBoop uses simplified assumptions, formulas, public data sources, historical averages, estimates, and user-provided inputs. These assumptions may be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, generalized, or unsuitable for your personal situation.
The Service may simplify or omit important real-world considerations, including but not limited to:
- Federal, state, local, and international tax rules;
- Deductions, credits, phaseouts, exemptions, and filing status issues;
- Investment fees, sequence-of-return risk, volatility, and liquidity needs;
- Employer benefits, health costs, insurance, disability, and family circumstances;
- Debt terms, interest rate changes, refinancing risks, and credit profile effects;
- Housing costs, geographic differences, inflation, and cost-of-living variation;
- Policy changes, economic shocks, recessions, job loss, and emergencies;
- Behavioral choices and unexpected life events.
BeepBoop may display "levels," "scores," "states," "tiers," or other game-like labels. These are for educational and entertainment purposes only and should not be interpreted as a definitive assessment of your financial health, status, future, or personal worth.
6. Demographic or Statistical Inputs
The Service may allow optional demographic or personal inputs, such as age, location, gender, career stage, household status, or similar information.
Where used, these inputs are intended to support generalized statistical modeling or educational comparisons. They do not determine your actual potential, value, ability, compensation, financial future, or life outcome.
Any demographic adjustment or comparison is descriptive and statistical, not prescriptive. You should not interpret any output as a claim about what will happen to you individually.
7. No Guarantee of Accuracy
We aim to make the Service useful, but we do not guarantee that any content, calculation, source, formula, assumption, estimate, projection, tax treatment, or output is accurate, complete, current, reliable, or appropriate for your needs.
The Service may contain errors, bugs, incorrect assumptions, outdated data, calculation mistakes, display issues, or omissions.
You are responsible for independently verifying all information before relying on it.
8. Not for Emergency or Critical Decisions
The Service should not be used for urgent, high-stakes, or irreversible decisions. Do not use the Service as your primary basis for decisions involving bankruptcy, foreclosure, eviction, medical care, legal disputes, tax filings, investment transactions, retirement withdrawals, loan defaults, or other serious financial or legal matters.
9. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.
The Service is intended for users located in the United States unless otherwise stated. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you are responsible for complying with local laws.
10. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, or abusive purposes;
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or compromise the Service;

12. Third-Party Services and Links
The Service may rely on or link to third-party websites, platforms, hosting providers, analytics tools, data sources, or other services. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services, content, policies, security, accuracy, availability, or practices.

We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, security, and error-free operation.
We do not warrant that the Service will meet your expectations, produce accurate results, be uninterrupted, be secure, be free of viruses or harmful components, or that errors will be corrected.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BeepBoop and its owner, developer, operator, affiliates, contributors, service providers, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or enhanced damages, including lost profits, lost savings, lost opportunities, investment losses, tax consequences, business interruption, data loss, or financial losses arising out of or related to your use of or reliance on the Service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service will not exceed the greater of:
- The amount you paid to use the Service in the twelve months before the claim arose; or

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
16. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BeepBoop and its owner, developer, operator, affiliates, contributors, service providers, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to:
- Your use or misuse of the Service;
- Your reliance on any output from the Service;
- Your violation of these Terms;
- Your violation of any law or third-party right;
- Information you enter into the Service;
- Your use of the Service to advise or influence another person.
17. No Class Actions
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you and BeepBoop agree that any dispute will be brought only on an individual basis and not as a class, consolidated, representative, or collective action.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Washington, D.C., without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the courts located in Washington, D.C., unless applicable law requires otherwise.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
